Based on the East Coast of Australia, preferably Sydney, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading Global engineering group in the important position of EPC Design Manager to lead for them on Design & Construct (EPC) projects, particularly in their working relationship with the delivery team including the Contractor.

All Projects will be Water or Wastewater Orientated.

The primary function of the role is to have overall responsibility for the delivery of all engineering/design tasks associated with Design & Construct (EPC) and Alliance (JV) projects including planning, options evaluations, development of concept design, detail design and associated procurement and construction specifications and documentation for the projects and engineering support during construction.



Requirements:

Essentially you will have an engineering degree qualification, combined with a minimum of 15 years engineering design experience of which a minimum is 8 years Design & Construct (EPC) Design Management experience working across a broad range of technical expertise in the Water/Wastewater Industry.

Decision Making skills are your most important asset to lead and drive the process in respect of design, scheduling & budget management for the project. It is essential to work in front of the delivery and construction process. You must be able to Integrate with the Contractors and Operations Teams to plan & organize and support this process.

On a personal level you will be a leader who is not afraid to make decisions.
