Our associate office PUSB Engineering Sdn Bhd (677712-P) is a Bumiputra Malaysian owned and managed multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy that offers Engineering Consultancy, Pipeline Engineering, Cost Management & Project Management and HSE Risk Assessment for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Construction Industries.

We are seeking experienced and suitably qualified candidates for our Oil & Gas Engineering Consultancy in MIRI.

Senior Electrical Engineer
(Sarawak)

Responsibilities:
* Requirements for electrical installation in hazardous areas
* Protective relay coordination study/setting and testing
* PLC, SCS and software configuration plus communication networks
* Electrical specifications, data sheets and technical requisition packages
* Conceptual and detailed design packages
* Current international standards (IEC), Shell DEP’s, Electrical Safety Rule, regulations, e.g. IEE Wiring Regulations, IP Code.
* Electrical Power System Operating Philosophy
* System testing, commissioning or maintenance
* Generators, switchgear, transformers, UPS, navigation aid, solar power generation system, motors, cables and other electrical equipment for high and low voltage systems
* Equipment installation and commissioning procedures
* Power system study including load flow study, short circuit analysis, motor starting analysis and transient stability study.
* Lighting illumination calculation
* Cable sizing, voltage drop studies
* Harmonic analysis, EMC study
* Arc flash analysis
* Electrical load analysis/tabulation, equipment sizing calculations and selection

In addition, the incumbent shall have a sound appreciation of:

* Fire and Gas detection installations
* Control and automation systems
* Telecommunications installation
* Cost analysis
* Lightning protective systems
* HVAC system and statutory

Requirements:

* Possess degree in Engineering and registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia, or equivalent.
* Minimum 10 years relevant experience including 7 years in conceptual design, FEED and detailed engineering design in the Onshore/Offshore Oil and Gas Industry.
* Applicants must be willing to work in Miri,Sarawak.
* Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering - Oil/Gas or equivalent.
* Full-Time positions available.
